More dumbold double-speak: "Tar Sands sludge is not the threat to the Missouri; it's the protestors' poop."!

In the never-ending barrage of alternative reality emanating from the cluster-fuck in the whitehouse, the Corps of Engineers decided that it no longer needed to do an environmental impact statement on the Dakota Access Pipeline.  This shouldn't be surprising; those guys are pretty spineless, and were easily cowed by the supreme toddler.

This 42 inch diameter pipeline is designed to carry tar sands sludge, which is the most environmentally destructive oil there is!  It is so thick and goopy that it sinks in water!  A 2010 spill on the Kalamazoo River released a million gallons of this goo, and has left a permanent layer of death on the river bottom.

Now the sleaze brigade has declared THE PROTESTORS to be a threat to the river!!!  Yep, they're afraid that pee or poop might destroy the Missouri!  And, if the tents were to wash into the river, they might pose "a hazard to navigation"!

There is a video black-out on this story, so look for another Wounded Knee Massacre to go unreported.

Traitor trump awards himself the medal of Honor!

Have you wondered what that green, inverted pentagram, with the image of Lady Liberty (looking an AWFUL lot like Kellyanne Conwoman) behind trump is?

It's the frigging MEDAL OF HONOR!!!  This is the sort of subliminal imaging that fascist dictators do.  His obedient minions will, in their infantile, credulous pea-brain medullas, imagine that he won it, in glorious combat.

This orange toad disgraces all the recipients of this award.  Didn't he also accept a Purple Heart, because he "suffered so much" for his country.

A Grapefruit can be spectacular!

My favorite way to eat a Grapefruit is just to peel it like an orange or tangerine.  It is so wonderful, kind of like an orgasm in your mouth (OK, that didn't sound right.)!

But really, it's as wonderful as drinking a decent champagne, like MOET Chandon, Brut.

Mel Gibson's film "Hacksaw Ridge" is an excellent film about an inspiring man: Desmond Doss.

I've not been a big fan of Mel Gibson, but "Hacksaw Ridge" is certainly a credit to his skill as a director.  We all fall down, and all have the chance at redeeming ourselves.

A very moving and inspiring story, and the battle scenes are right up there with the D-Day slaughter fest from "Saving Private Ryan".

Here is the real Desmond Doss, who, atop a 100 foot cliff, all by himself (his platoon having been driven back by a counter-assault from the dug-in Japanese), crept around finding wounded brothers and lowering them down to medics waiting below.  All the while dodging enemy soldiers who were going around bayonetting every fallen Yank, just to make sure he was dead.  In one night, this CO-- who refused to pick up a gun-- and was court-martialed because he also refused to be discharged as a Section 8-- found and lowered and saved 75 men.  For this President Truman awarded him the Medal of Honor.  A true hero.
