The NRA armed a known terrorist in Garland, TX

You don't kick a hornet's nest.  You don't tease a mean dog.

The provocateurs in Garland Texas set out to offend Muslims, and succeeded.  Two guys with assault rifles showed up.  A lot of "innocent" people could have been killed.  Two fools are dead.  The offensive contest to draw a picture of Mohammed is seen as protected by the 1st Amendment.  As I understood it: freedom of speech does not include falsely crying "fire" in a crowded theatre.  If you're likely to get people killed, it's not protected speech.

Beyond that, there is the question of how a guy who had been on a terrorist watch list since 2006 was able to buy an AR-15.  How?  Thank the NRA and the Republicans, and the Democrats who know that any kind of reasonable gun regulation will get them slammed by the gun lobby.
